We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be 50 years old this year and registered blind for 25 of those (half my life!)  To mark these milestones, I decided to run the London Marathon for the RNIB.  The RNIB helped me return to work  and look at my future more positively.  They also campaigned to continue the research into my eye condition.  Last year there was a breakthrough and a treatment could be available on the NHS within the next 5 years.  This is my opportunity to give something back.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you in advance for your support.

About the charity

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
