I have been given the opportunity to take part in the London Marathon and to run for a charity who this year will be celebrating 40 years of fund raising for children and young people with speech impairments.

AFASIC is a charity who provides help and support to those with speech and language difficulties.  Over a million children and young people have a speech, language or communication impairment, that's an average of 2 children in every classroom.  The charity also provides valued support to parents and carers during these difficult times.
