Story

Here's the standard blurb:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Canterbury Oast Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

That was the standard blurb. The non-standard blurb is that I'm doing a 53 miles bike ride (actually 'The Great Kent Bike Ride' rather than 'Pedal For Pounds' as shown above) this Sunday, 14th June, for The Oast House Trust. It's crazy, at my age, but at least I'll be sitting down.

So, what is The Oast House Trust? Well, it's "...a charity supporting people with learning disabilities in Kent and East Sussex...." which creates "...opportunities for those who would not be able to look after themselves outside a safe and supportive environment..."

That sounds pretty good doesn't it? I hope you'll agree.
