Story
Cycling from Rome to Edinburgh...
Ian is currently in preparation for one his biggest challenges yet – to take part in a 2,800km cycle ride across Europe to raise £1million for a number of causes. The event is the brain child of former England Rugby legend Lawrence Dallaglio.
Lawrence will lead a team of cyclists including celebrities from the worlds of sport, screen and music to visit each of the six stadia involved in the Six Nations rugby tournament next year. Ex England Rugby international Ian Hunter and managing Director of Jellyfish has agreed to join Lawrence for one leg of this epic journey from Twickenham to Fishguard...a total of 410km.
Who are we doing this for?
In partnership with the BBC’s Sport Relief campaign, the cycle ride will aim to raise £1 million for Sport Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation, which in turn will support Cancer Research UK, DebRA, the Help for Heroes campaign, the PRA Benevolent Fund and the Leukaemia Research.
Ian Hunter
Ian is the Managing Director of Jellyfish Creative. He played professional rugby for Northampton Saints for 12 years. He represented England (appearing in 2 World Cups) and went on the British Lions tour to New Zealand in 1992.
Lawrence Dallaglio
Lawrence Bruno Nero Dallaglio OBE falls into a very small category of rugby players to reach superstar status. Between his debut for London Wasps in 1993 and his retirement from the sport in 2007, Lawrence achieved everything there is to achieve in professional rugby.
