I have now completed the run in 2hrs53 minutes! If you dont sponsor me now after I've managed to complete it in a good time and with a smile on my face - well shame on you!!! Seriously though this was a truely amazing experience and one which I will take part in again...so watch this space this time next year....!

As you may or may not know I have signed up to do the Great North Run with 16 collegues from work (Eurobath). Having never run further than a mile or so before in my life I am now thinking I must be a little crazy!

We have decided to run on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support as unfortuantly many of us have lost loved ones friends, collegues and in Ian's case an arm to Cancer! We appreciate and recognise the hard work the Macmillan guys put in an the massive difference they make to people living with this disease. This is our joint effort and way to say thank you to these fantasic people and to also help out others during a very difficult time.
