Haydn was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in February 2008 aged 2 years old and was then in London for 6 months with only a few days as an outpatient.

He spent a long time away from his brother Elliot and his friends though kept smiling throughout and kept going even when he felt terrible and had to go through operations, xrays and many blood transfusions.
He constantly suprised his family with his bravery and ninja dancing through the wards. Haydn has made lots of friends, most of whom are still fighting cancer.

Haydn is recovering well at home and we all hope that continues! 

Leukaemia research is the only national charity which funds research into leukaemia and other blood disorders so without further support, research would slow which would be devestating. 

I ( Jemma his mum ) am one of ten bananas and Ive been training very hard. I have also recruited Haydn's 5 year old brother Elliot to run in the junior 2k race.

Elliot and I will feel so proud when we are wearing our medals and can hopefully say we raised our target of £2000! Show us your support now.
