Village Aid are an international development charity who specifically support community based organisations working in rural areas of Africa. We run literacy and education programmes, facilitate in-country coordinator training and build the capacity of local organisations to be self sufficient.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I'vm Competing in the Nottingham Sprint Triathlon - sprint distance (750m swim, 20km cycle, 5 km run).

This effort is inspired by the fact that I have undertaken research on Agency for Village Support; Village Aid's partner organisation in The Gambia. Here I saw, first hand, the  valuable contribution Village Aid makes in supporting the lives of those living in the poverty stricken rural areas of The Gambia.

So PLEASE sponsor me now. Your contribution, regardless of  scale, will really make a great difference.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Village Aid gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
