IT'S YOUR LAST CHANCE TO SPONSOR US ... PAGE CLOSES 7TH AUG.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

Peter & Louise Jemmett (father & daughter) are walking the Chiltern section of the Ridgeway, about 44 miles from the River Thames to Ivinghoe Beacon, over the 12th & 13th May (depending on the weather) to raise money for Coeliac UK.  This is not an organised event and is just the two of us trying to raise as much money as we can while going for a ..... long ......... long ........... walk!

Louise was diagnosed when she was just 4 years old and has lived her life on a strict gluten-free diet, the help and support received through Coeliac UK has been invaluable to making her life easier.

For information on the Coeliac disease use this link - http://www.coeliac.co.uk/coeliac_disease/130.asp

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Coeliac UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Look, we've even got the t-shirts - so you have to sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

UPDATE:  We completed the first leg of our walk on Saturday 12/05/07 but had to abandon the walk early due to the appalling weather conditions, we shall complete the course once the weather improves.

UPDATE:  After 8 weeks of rain and other distractions, we finally trackled the second leg of our walk on Saturday 07/07/07 covering 20.5 miles. From the original 44 mile challenge we completed 38.5 miles which has seen us walk from Streatley in Oxfordshire across Bucks to just south of Tring in Hertfordshire.
