Make-A-Wish UK is part of a global movement that exists to make life-changing wishes come true for the thousands of critically ill children across the UK. The power of a wish allows families to create lasting memories that they will treasure forever – no matter what the future holds.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having spent the last 18 months rallying the troops and roping various people into fundraising events and challenges, I thought it was about time i signed up to something myself and so in just 6 weeks I will be attempting to walk 50km along the Thames Path in aid of Make-A-Wish, a UK based charity which grants magical wishes to children and young people suffering life threatening diseases.

I am part of a 40 strong Flight Centre team and every single pound we raise will be matched so anything you can donate will be doubled.

Incase you are still in doubt, 50KM or 32 miles is a very long way, I have been training (ish) and can confirm it will hurt!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
