Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This year I am planning to complete three challenges in an attempt to raise £1000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. Keep reading for a bit more info but please please please help me reach my target! 

  

I have chosen to support breakthrough as this year my mum was diagnosed with breastcancer and i'm hoping that by raising money to help fund future research i'll make a difference for other mums who find lumps just like mine did.... because, and it sounds really very soppy, but my mummy is the most important person in my life (like alot of people!) and even though it was caught early, hearing the word cancer always make you wonder what it would be like if that person wasn't around.  

Breakthrough are a UK charity fighting breast cancer through research, campaigning and education with a vision to "work for a future free from the fear of breast cancer".  

So, my three big challenges are listed below. Obviously, for anyone who knows me, they were always going to focus on the two things I love most; chocolate and cycling!   

1) 12 Hour non-stop cycle Taking place at St Davids Health & Fitness in North Wales... next Tuesday (the 17th).. god knows why - 12 hours on a bike going nowhere sounds awful!


2) OS Mountain Mayhem on 18/19th June: A 24 hour solo mountain bike race. Entry confirmed and training has (just about) commenced.. whats this about people running the london marathon with no training?!! 


3) Deg yn Llandegla in August : Another mountain bike enduro event, this time only (!) ten hours at Llandegla Trail centre just down the road from me :)

 

Donating through JustGiving is fast, simple and secure. Your details are safe with justgiving and they won't sell them on to viagra companies etc! If you donate, they send the money directly to the charity (so I couldn't go and spend it on Creme Eggs I suppose?!) and make sure that Gift Aid is reclaimed on every elegible donation by a UK taxpayer.
