Virgin London Marathon 2014 · 13 April 2014 ·

The nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities and thanks to them fewer lives will be lost needlessly. Raise money. Help save lives. Be the difference.

Story

St John Ambulance volunteers provide fantastic first aid and medical services to sporting events, both locally and at major sporting fixtures. This includes Wimbledon, the Grand National, Cheltenham racecourse, Premier League matches, the London 2012 Olympic Games and ironically the London Marathon (!) to name but a few events. They are also present at music festivals (e.g. V Fest) and other large public gatherings and events.

On top of this you see them at your local sporting fixtures, e.g. point to points/ eventing/ hunter trials/ rugby/ football/ hockey matches all of which would not be able to happen without them.

Look out for them- they are present at more places than you would think!

Please show your support for this great charity- you never know when you or someone close to you may need them.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
