Too many loved ones have been taken too soon, I'm putting myself up for a 10k Race for Life because I want a challenge. I want it to be meaningful! I have a knee injury and I will continue to make myself strong enough to complete this. If I can't run, I will walk or crawl! I will succeed in my loved ones memory. However, I'm aiming to run and complete this because they are my driving force!
Update: I have also signed up to the 5k Pretty Muddy with my amazing work ladies! This is in September so anything donated will all be going to the same great cause!
Completing this challenge for my cousin Carole (who moved to New Zealand, but is a Cornish girl at heart always), my uncle David and one of my best friends Lee. There are also so many others close to me that have fallen from cancer and this is for you also. Furthermore, I want to race for the survivors who fight/fought a great battle against this horrible illness.
I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure.
Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
