I am part of a team of people currently working to create a Childcare social enterprise. We are in the early stages of launching a Women's Project pathway to train women local to Tower Hamlets to become qualified child carers. As of this month we will start to teach CACHE accredited childcare courses and are in the process of transitioning our creche into a playgroup, with the ultimate aim of becoming a full day care nursery.</p> <p>This particular social enterprise is part of my story. But City Gateway already has several other social enterprises up and running, all of which make a huge difference to the lives of those who are involved in them.
