Thanks for looking  at my page :)

Basically loads of students from Warwick University take part in a massive SKYDIVE every year with the aim of raising £20,000 for the charity Read International (click HERE for more info). This year I've decided to give it a go!!

We each have to raise a minimum of £380 and with your help hopefully we can achieve it as it's a fantastic charity to be involved with. Read International was started by students in 2004 and is still a university led charity. It aims to send unwanted or "old" books from schools and universities in England to aid teaching and learning in schools in Tanzania and Uganda. The money raised helps pay for the shipping as one book can cost up to 50p to take from a school in England into the hands of a teacher in Uganda. Very often we throw away old copies of books which have been updated when they are still in great condition. This initiative is a fantastic way of helping give children a good start in education using items we may have otherwise thrown out.

Having worked in schools in Uganda myself I know how valued and appreciated books and learning equipment is so I would really love to raise a large amount of money to help.

Doing a skydive is going to be a huge challenge (mainly due to a fear of heights!!) so please, please, please sponsor me and make all the nervous moments worth it!

Thanks very much for reading and if you want anymore information please let me know :)

(I seriously hope I'm better at skydiving than editing pictures!!!)

If you're feeling extra generous these are my housemates who are doing

it with me:
