Hi! 

Thank you for taking the time to stop by my little fundraising page.  I have arranged to take a little unpaid leave from work to partake in a Raleigh International expedition to Costa Rica this Autumn. I know some of you reading this will be aware of the fantastic work that Raleigh does around the UK and beyond and for those that aren't’ aware of their work, there is a little info box to the left of this text with a link to their site.  

To participate, I am required to raise funds to help support Raleigh ’s project and administration costs.  Please note, this fund raising does not go toward my expenses, but completely to the charity!  I aim to spend 3 months working alongside other young people working on community and environmental projects, such as rebuilding of village facilities or forest fire prevention.   

Donating through the site is 'simple, fast and totally secure'. However, if you don’t trust this new fangled wizardry, you can contact me directly to donate to Raleigh in other ways.  Also, as most of you will be taxpayers, an extra 28% will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
