Dear friends and family,

I am running the Florence marathon on November 29th 2009 - yes a few days time !!!! Not only is this a personal achievement, but I want to make my efforts count towards a great cause. So, I would like to try and raise lots of money for the hospice that cared for my beautiful auntie Jackie whilst she was ill. She is greatly missed by all that knew her and I'm sure she'd think I was mad running a marathon.

Willen hospice only receives 25% of it's funding from the NHS. The rest of the money required to run the hospice for a year (approx £3 million) is raised through charity donations and events.

Please, please, please give generously to this great cause this supports patients and their families and friends through very tough times.
