Well, I have finally done something out with my comfort zone and booked the trip of a lifetime! On 12th April 2012 me and eleven others will be taking part in the ten day Children Today Peru Trek, where we will be climbing Machu Picchu and doing the Inca trail!! AND - it's all for charity!

I have to raise a minimun of 3,400 for Children Today, a charity who provide specialist equipment for disabled children in the UK. And don't worry I won't be getting to go on the trip of my dreams for nothing, I will be putting in as much as I can throughout the year.

 

We have now arranged most dates for events:

Malones Pub Quiz: £700 raised!!

Bake Sale: £120 raised!!

Zumba class - £200 raised!!

Douglas Hotel: £1300 raised!!!!!

Bacpacking: £1800 raised so far!!

Flowers Raffle: £75 raised!!

 

Comedy Night with Peter Wood: Fri 18th November at The City

Charlotte Bar Karioke Night: To be confirmed (Nov/ Dec)

Ladies Night: To be arranged

Race Night: To be arranged



 

We're trying to get an article in the Evening Express to publicise our events, our challange, and Children Today.  

Also Marcus Richards, CEO of Dana Petroleum has sponsored each of us £1000 for the trek!!
