It helps every child who enters its doors to fulfil their potential and aspiration in life through education, good health and social welfare by offering security, hope, kindness, and above all, love. The Charity's focus is on the development of educational, health and social service initiatives in deprived, remote parts of Africa where other agencies have not ventured.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I sincerely appreciate it..really I do =0)

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Ndoro Children's Charities gets your money faster and , if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

No matter how little you have, orphaned kids have much less. Lets face it, no, we cannot save everyone in need, but collectively we can make a difference...YES, WE CAN!

Remember, orphaned kids don't have anyone to help them get through life, and we all know how tough it is even WITH help! Not to mention the situation with current Leadership in Zim (if you can call it that).

As cliche as this all may sound, I'm sitting here on my bed writing this and believe that every little WILL help! I  have a personal interest vested in this project because the founders of this charity are practically family to me.

I want to help them achieve their goal,so please, please help me help them.."lets pay it forward"! The money really will go towards building this orphanage, and hopefully other projects to come.

You can visit their website at: www.ndorocc.org.uk

Even better is for you to setup your own page, just like this one... Go to www.justgiving.com/ndoro/raisemoney to do so... It only takes about 5-10 minutes - although I spent much longer writing this because I wanted to!

Here's a little something that was passed onto me and I wanted to share with you:

One day , the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip , the father asked his son , "How was the trip?"

"It was great , Dad."

"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.

"Oh yeah , " said the son.

"So , tell me , what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.

The son answered:

"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.

We have a pool  that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.

We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.

Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us , but they serve others.

We buy our food , but they grow theirs.

We have walls around our property to protect us , they have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added ,   "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."

Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.

Appreciate every single thing you have , especially your friends!

"Life is too short and friends are too few."
