Danny’s 18 mile challenge · 15 June 2019

Our charity provides funding for physiotherapy, hydrotherapy or piece of equipment for children suffering from Posterior Fossa Syndrome as a result of a brain tumour. We also fund brain tumour research as without research there will be no cure for this devastating disease.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Danny Green Fund was set up in memory of 11 year old Danny Green. Danny was diagnosed with a brain tumour in Nov 2011, not only did he have cancer but also Posterior Fossa Syndrome which left him unable to walk, speak or swallow. Sadly, following months of treatment and hard work on Danny’s part he lost his fight on 25th July 2012.

This year Danny would turn 18, so his parents set up Danny’s 18 challenge.

On 15th June, 230 of us will be walking 18 miles in Danny’s memory to raise money for the fund set up in his name.
