I have chosen to run for the Alzheimer's Society this year in the Great North Run and the Great Cumbrian Run. In both my work and personal life I have seen the devastating effect this disease can have on patients and their carers. Any money I raise will go directly to support the work of the charity to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia.
