The Gaza Marathon is run by the UN to raise money for the summer camps that they organise for children in Gaza. All the money I raise through this page will go to those summer camps - doing it via Amos means that people in the UK can GiftAid their donations. I'm covering the costs of getting there myself so everything you donate here will go towards giving children in Gaza much needed fun, creativity and attention next summer. The Gaza Strip is just 26 miles long - we'll be running along the coast from Beit Hanoun in the north to Rafah in the south. Of course, there's a risk that we might not be able to go if it's not safe but I have a place in the Brighton marathon on 14 April 2013 and I will run that instead.
