UPDATE (20/05/2008): The run went well - my time was 1 hour 4 minutes & 49 seconds! Much better than any of my practice runs, so I'm really pleased. That meant I came 4727 out of 12,000 - not bad for a first timer! :-) PREVIOUS INFO: Yes - It's true - I'm doing a 10k run! As you all know I've never run before so this will be quite a challenge for me :-) The charity I'm raising money for means a lot to me because of how they've helped my Grandpa. As you'll see (from the charity information on the left) - St. Dunstan's helps support blind ex-service men & women. My Grandpa served in the 2nd world war & had sight problems for several years before being declared blind in 2001. He's coped really well with the help of my Grandma & my parents. But since my Grandma died in 2004 he's needed more help & St. Dunstan's have helped him to stay independent by helping him to learn new skills, & by giving him the opportunity to meet other ex-service men like himself. St Dunstan's have made a real difference to his life, & the lives of many many others who fought for our country. I'm sure you'll agree this is a very worthy cause. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
