On Monday 17 March 2008, my Gramps died. He suffered with Alzheimers and although this wasn't the main cause of his death, it played a big part in his and my family's life.

I've decided to run the Tewkesbury half marathon on 11 May 08 for the Alzheimers Society so I can play my little part in helping to make life a tiny bit easier for sufferers and do my little bit for my Gramps.

My Gramps was amazing and he didn't deserve to go through what he did. I know I'm always asking for sponsorship, so I totally understand if you don't want to or can't sponsor me, I just want to raise awareness.

If you would like to sponsor me, whatever the amount it will be greatly appreciated.
