Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thank you for all your support for the concert on 29th November 2008. The evening was a great success: great music, great atmosphere and £1,662.43 raised for The Prostate Cancer Charity and The Chestnut Appeal. The local support group, NEDPSA - North and East Devon Prostate Support Association - turned out in force. There was a lot of interest in the information which they provided. David Parmee from The Chestnut Appeal also helped with awareness raising by giving a few key facts about Prostate Cancer. First prize in the raffle was a healthy eating hamper backed up by The Prostate Cancer Charity's practical and informative diet leaflet. A huge thank you to Wren Music Ensembles: Campus Choir, Voices in Common, Rough Music and of course border piper David Faulkner and folk singer / songwriters, Paul Wilson and Marilyn Tucker.
