A superb cause!
It is St Giles Hospice 25th Anniversary this year and in honour, and in a a bid to raise lots of money there are 25 of us doing the trek in October.
The trek is from Cuzco in to Machu Picchu, the world heritage Inca city. It involves crossing three mountain passes up to 4,200 metres (13,800ft). Much of the trek is made up of several hundred years old steps linking a string of ancient Inca settlements.
Raising the money is going to be a big challenge but it is for a big cause and your support no matter how small will be much appreciated and needed!
