Fundraising for Latin Link
Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
This March I will be travelling to Brazil on a mission project. The trip is being organised by a charity called ‘Latin Link’. This charity specialises in sending teams of people to Latin America.
For my part I will be in Brazil for four months. The plan at this point is that I will be working on two main construction projects, whilst also working alongside the church and community there.
The first construction project I will be working on will be to build a house for the pastor of a church and his family, but the details of the second aren't known yet, although it is likely that it will be similar to the first project.
Any money I raise will not only be to support myself, but will also go towards the building and material costs of the projects.
One of Latin links objectives is to build a partnership between people here and in Latin America. It is so much more appreciated by the people there that we send people, rather than just money.
To raise money for this trip I will be embarking on a sponsored cycle ride from Loughborough to Southampton, and then back- a round trip of about 320 miles. At a guess, it will take me about 4 days to complete the trip.
It would mean a lot to me if you would support me and the cause I am working towards.
