Yes, it is me. That fat blob more accustomed to climbing the stairs from a pub garden to the bar than the biggest free standing mountain in the world has decided to do something worthwhile and i cannot think of a better charity to be raising money for.
Help For Heroes does wonderful work for soldiers and other servicemen and women both directly and through its support of other service charities.
As you all know i come from a military background and have heard from friends and family still in the forces that the support that Help For Heroes provide is invaluable. Let's help them do more for men and women who fight to keep us safe. You may not agree with the wars but i doubt i know anyone who does not agree that soldiers, sailors and airmen involved in these operations deserve our full support and charity.
