FareShare redistributes good-to-eat, surplus food, which would otherwise go to waste, to 8,000 local charities and community groups across the UK. But our charities are facing unprecedented demand for food. Join our fight against hunger and food waste. Support FareShare today.

Story

Joe and I cycled the length of the country - in 91 hours total cycling time over 12 days - we climbed 64,000 feet of ascent and burnt 91,000 calories over 985 miles. The London Marathon went like a dream and I finished the iron man in sub 6 hours - the swim was INSANE - being kicked in the face and swam over the top of in deep water while racing was bonkers to say the least - great fun though and finished 20th in my age group

Ive chosen to do this for the FareShare charity as every day thousands of families and individuals here at home in the UK cannot afford to feed themselves or their children through unfortunate circumstances. I am involved in the food chain as are many of my friends and colleagues. Producing food as efficiently as possible and doing what we can to see it reaches the needy is central to what we do.
