We will be taking part in an exciting new fundraising event which will see teams travelling from Jersey to Monaco on a rally-style treasure hunt.

The Gallery Monaco Rally 2008, in association with Gallery Magazine, takes place in May next year and aims to raise £45,000 for Jersey Hospice Care. It involves up to 30 teams of two driving through beautiful French countryside and a hair-raising route over the Pyrenees over four days as they go in search of clues to win the rally.

The purpose of the Gallery Monaco Rally is to have a lot of fun while raising money for Hospice, and there is nothing else quite like it on Jersey’s fundraising calendar.
Each day, competitors will be given a sheet of cryptic clues that they must solve to find out where they are going next. They will also need to find some piece of information in each location before they can move on to the next destination.

Neither of us speak French to any great degree so we will be challenged.... volunteers for speed dial buddies please?!!

And has anyone got a spare sat-nav?!! Or would that be considered cheating?!!
