St John's Church is the parish church in the Hampshire village of Hartley Wintney. In April 2012, the church commenced the building of a new £2.3m Church Centre, which, when completed in June 2013, will provide new facilities for our church and wider community. Please help us to raise the final 20%.

Story

Three years ago I cycled from Hartley Wintney to Paris. It was an amazing experience and so I have jumped at the chance to do it all over again, except this time we are starting in Hartley Wintney's twin town, Malle, in Belgium and we'll cover 300 miles to get home. The one big difference this time is that I started my training in Abu Dhabi!  And believe me, that's tough going when it's 42 degrees!

Many of you sponsored me previously when I managed to raise £1100 for the major building  project that will transform St John's Church. This time we are also supporting the Matthew Elvidge Trust which helps tackle the stigma of mental illness in young people, and our local hospice, St Michaels. They are all deserving causes so I hope I can persuade you to support my endeavour and all donations, of whatever size, will be greatly appreciated!

Thamk you so much!
