Brooke relieves the suffering of hundreds of thousands of horses, donkeys and mules working tirelessly for the world's poorest communities. Its dedicated local vets and support teams provide free veterinary care, education and training to the heart of communities in parts of the Middle East, Africa, South America and Asia.
A chairty that is close to my heart, due to my love of animals of which i own 2 horses and 3 dogs and work for Equitogs Equestrian Sports Store to help customers care for their horses. I am doing an 8 day trek, privately costing £250 to take part and i then need to raise a minimum of £6000 for the charity itself. It will involve riding through snow capped mountains to volcanoes and geysers, from mighty lava fields to wide open stretches of beach and green valleys all in aid to raise money for "The Brooke Charity".
I ask anyone to donate, no matter what size, so i can represent your support for the charity aswell.
The enormous difference the Brooke makes is thanks to the kindness of its supporters and the dedication, care and compassion of their local vets and community workers. Their work is underpinned by unique and proven methods developed with Bristol University Veterinary and they have over 800 highly-skilled staff working directly in the field.
Brooke's goal is that by 2016, Brooke will have increased the number of working animals we reach from 730,000 to measurably improving the lives of 2 million suffering horses, donkeys and mules who need our help most in the world.
Please donate now any contribution you can make will help support the charity.
