I'm running the race for life in memory of my wonderful dad Raymond Hackett, who lost his battle in 2005. 

No one should know what it feels like to lose a parent at such a young age, so every penny that I raise will help in some way to prevent it happening to someone else. 

My dad was in his early 40s when he died, that's no age at all. It's through things like this that his memory lives on and other people get to hear his story.
