Every 2 hours, someone in the UK sustains a spinal cord injury. Their world – and that of their family – is turned upside-down. SIA aim to reach everyone affected by spinal cord injury, to connect them to all the help and support they need to life a fulfilled life.

Story

On 22nd June this year, my legs took me 26.2 miles around South-East and Central London to raise money for the Spinal Injuries Association.

So many people have been, and are being, incredibly grateful and my fundraising target has risen and risen in inverse proportion to my fundraising baked goods, which sank and sank.

For those of you hoping for a refund, sorry - I finished in 3:33 and didn't walk an inch. In fact, my only concession to 'cheating' was runnning alongside Sponge Bob Square Pants for a little while and sharing his thunder.

Thank you - your support is so very gratefully received.

Jess

p.s. and if you want to really get in the picture as to how it went, and you feel you can cope with seeing my sweaty soul laid bare, do have a read of my BLOG.
