Story
Dear all - We are running the Connemara half marathon in Ireland this month to raise money for the Frank Haines Memorial Trust. Frank was a friend who died tragically young running this race in 2006. The trust was established in his memory to support youth work in East London where Frank lived and where we live.
Tower Hamlets is the second most deprived borough of the UK, with over 50% of children living in poverty. We understand times are tough for everyone, but if you can spare anything it will really help support children who have not had much of a start in life. Justgiving ensures 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
You may also place your bets on whether Sam can keep up with Jess (The race appears to be uphill almost the entire way, which adds to the challenge!). Thank you all for the support x
