BUPA Great South Run · 28 October 2007 ·

The nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities and thanks to them fewer lives will be lost needlessly. Raise money. Help save lives. Be the difference.

Story

In my spare time I am a runner and a volunteer with the St John Ambulance brigade. This year I am running the Great South again to raise money for Salisbury Division.

The St John Ambulance service play a very important role in our community here in Salisbury, often going unnoticed but always there when needed. Salisbury division is very fortunate to have such a dedicated team of trained first aiders as well as a state of the art fleet of well stocked ambulances but all this won't be possible without the kind donations from the public.

Thank you for visiting my page.

In addition, if you are interested in joining up, we meet every Monday night here in Salisbury to train as well as going out at weekends to assist with local events. Please drop me a line on jez.whitworth (at) hotmail (dot) co (dot) uk. It would be great to see you there.
