Bullock Smithy 56 mile walk · 16 August 2008

The trust aims to support educational causes that were dear to Hazel Scott Aiton, who had taken a gap year in a school in Namibia. It aims to give financial assistance to people embarking on voluntary work overseas and help poorer countries help themselves in the long term through supporting better education.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We have successfully completed the Bullock Smithy hike which is a 56 mile walk, to be completed in 24 hours. The walk started and finished in Hazel Grove and traversed parts of the Peak District. The going was tough (involving extreme hills, adverse weather conditions, walking constantly throughout the night and facing navigational challenges) but we were determined to succeed!

At the same time, we are helping Hazel's Footprints Trust to provide support to those doing voluntary work abroad and thereby help those in poorer countries. Any support that you can give would be much appreciated.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Hazel's Footprints Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
