Hi everyone,

We must be mad - we are running in the Blackpool Marathon on 27th April 2008 for a local charity, Willow Wood Hospice.

The big day is looming and every day we are checking the post for our race numbers & course map! No more big runs left - just an easy, gentle 5 miler on Saturday and thats it - we'll be 'carb loading' all week & putting our feet up, which gives us an excuse to eat for England! Thanks so much to everyone who has sponsored us so far. We have been overwhelmed by all the support from our families, friends and colleagues.

We will of course let you know how we get on next weekend. Then I reckon we'll be hanging up our trainers for a while....well, at least a couple of days!
