Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year myself and some mates ran the Men's Health Survival of the Fittest 10k in memory of "Big John" McAuslan. It was hard going but we all had a great day doing something that the big man would have appreciated (though maybe would have preferred to stick to the spectators area with a carry out like my brother...)

Survival 2013 is already booked and is going to get smashed but before that I've decided to bite the bullet and go for this beast - The Dirty Weekend. 20 miles, 200 obstacles and according to the organisers it's harder than a Tough Mudder and a Spartan done back to back. Needless to say, that's pretty hardcore so I'm hoping you'll all dig extra deep and do the business on this one as I'm going all out.

The members of team Survival 2012 are conspicuously absent from this one. It really is just me going out and trying to batter through this on my own so any pity or sympathy donations would be especially appreciated. ;)

Please donate now.
