Story
Well, the event has happened and I finished!
The training went well, plenty of early morning runs etc, building up distance as I went.
I managed to get a course time of 1 hour 50 minutes and 30 seconds, with a race time of 1 hour 51 minutes and 12 seconds (it took a minute to get to the start line once the hooter had sounded!)
I came 502nd out of a field of 1750 runners, so not too shabby at all, and I am really pleased with it. Race results are here ---> http://www.sportsystems.net/torbay/Downloads/ResultsTorbayHalfM09All.pdf
I will be entering next year and hopefully I'll improve on my time.
Once again thanks for visiting my page and please feel free to donate, even though the event is now finished this page will remain open for donations for some time yet.
And many thanks to all those who have already donated, it is much appreciated and Help for Heroes will continue to do the fantastic work that they already do for our injured servicemen, and lets face its the least we can do for these brave men and women.
