Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Help for Heroes gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

We are a team of Royal Marine Aircrewmen and we are going run the Bristol Half Marathon carrying a 300lbs, 31 ft long Sea King main rotor blade aiming to raise £1000 per mile. We want people and firms to give as generously as possible be it from their own pockets or by firms sponsoring the blade and advertising on the blade.

We are training as of next week and have our local MP David Laws as a sponsor and he is going to Table a Motion in Parliament and then have it released to the press to publicise our effort.

There are many servicemen out there that need the help that Help for Heroes can bring them. There are also the families of those servicemen who need help in getting accomodation, travel etc to care for them in the years to come. We are doing our best to help them with this event, please help us and them with a donation.
