Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
After Sal's father (and my DIY inspiration) lost his life to prostate cancer in 2007, I wanted to do something to increase awareness of this disease and raise money to help sufferers and fund research. Running the London Marathon for the Prostate Cancer Charity seemed like the obvious choice. However, it's now dawned on me that 26.2 miles is quite a long way and I wish that I'd started training somewhat earlier.
The goal I've set myself is three and a half hours, which has raised a few eyebrows from more experienced runners. We'll see :-)
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Prostate Cancer Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
