Hello, thank you for visiting my Daddy's fundraising page!
Yes it is true, and I was shocked when he told me as well. Daddy is running the London Marathon for a third time on Sunday 26th April 2009! He's even shown me the medals and proof that he ran it in 2004 and 2007.
Just after I was born, we had a "father and son" chat, you know how it goes...
"Son, before you arrived on the scene, I was a streamlined, super fit, specimen of a man. I could party hard and party all night, and still fit into those 32 inch jeans in the wardrobe... But since you've been born, it's all gone a bit Pete Tong."
Yadda yadda yadda... whatever. Don't blame me!
Daddy certainly won't fit into those jeans any more, but he hopes that running the marathon again will mean he'll lose some weight, get fit and will raise money for a good cause. It will also be a major motivation for Daddy to start running again.
So he has chosen to run for the NCT, also known as the National Childbirth Trust. Mummy and Daddy found their antenatal courses to be extremely valuable and informative. Because of the NCT, I now have some really cool baby friends that I hang out with every week.
If you’re free on Sunday 26th April 2009 please come along and cheer with Team Haysom!
Many thanks,
Baby Haysom on behalf of my Daddy, Jim Haysom
