In celebration of managing to lose over four stone in weight, and to put my new found fitness to some good use, I have elected to climb to the top of the Brecon Beacons at night in early September to raise funds for Tros Gynnal, together with a group from Esporta Cardiff.

We are doing a night climb to the top of Pen Y Fan, and optimistically hope to see the sun rise from the summit.

Tros Gynnal is the leading children's rights and advocacy charity in Wales. It was set up to take over the work of The Children's Society when it withdrew from working in Wales in 2002
