We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Jim Miles was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2011, and fought it for four and a half years until his death in August 2015.

Although it is all too easy to think of only sadness at this time, his was a life full of love, joy, successes and laughter. He left his mark on many lives and was a truly beloved man. He will be missed by many.

The Brain Tumour Charity helped Jim and his family through this incredibly difficult journey. As well as receiving great support from the Brain Tumour Charity, he was actively involved in fundraising, supporting the charity from when he fell ill until the final months of his life. Recently, his efforts helped in raising enough to secure a new neuro microscope at Addenbrooke's.

All donations will go towards the ongoing research and care for those struck by brain tumours, and bring comfort to the families affected.
