The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent is working to help save endangered cats from extinction. Our Four Pillars of Ethos are Welfare, Breeding, Education & Conservation. Housing around 50 wild cats, from the world’s largest, the Amur tiger to the most endangered, the Amur leopard. Open by appointment only.

Story

Our beloved and slightly bonkers Jim, not satisfied with running for hours and hours has set himself the new challenge of Ironman France 2009.

For those who do not know, this event consists of the following:

     2.4 mile - swim        112 mile - bike         26.2 mile - run

Jim is aiming to raise money for a charity very close to our hearts, Wildlife Heritage Foundation.  This charity is working hard to prevent the extinction of the worlds most endangered cats - both in capitivity and worldwide - from its site in Kent and through extensive contributions to overseas conservation projects in the field.

To find out more about what we do please go to www.whf.org.uk

If you can only spare a little, it is most gratefully received.  If you can spare a lot = even better :-)

Sponsoring Jim is a lot easier than the extensive and relentless training he is putting in - so please sponsor him now!

For each £10 sponsored please make a guess @ the finish time (between 10 & 17 hours) - guess correct = win an ipod touch

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor Jim: Wildlife Heritage Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
