They did it!!! On 26th September 2009, perfect conditions...it took them 9hrs 11mins, the fastest British team this year...Thank you to everyone for sponsoring the Overboard Team...

Update - 23rd September 2009 - STILL WAITING

The pilot still hasn't allowed the team to swim due to bad conditions...we are really hoping it will be this weekend now (26th Sept), we will keep you posted!!!

Update - 17th September 2009

Due to bad conditions over the Channel last week the Overboard Team were unable to attempt their long awaited swim...however, the weather is looking alot better now so the swim will (fingers crossed) be taking place this Saturday at midnight!!!  Thanks to all of you for supporting them, we will keep you posted on their progress and post some pics of the event soon...

Update - 14th August 2009 - This week The Overboard Team have decided to take the plunge and do a night swim at the beginning of September at the Kanp in Barry in preparation for the possibility of having to start our actual channel crossing in the middle of the night...

 Update - 26th July -  The Overboard Team successfully completed a day of training @ The Knap in Barry, South Wales...we swam four 75minute sessions in cold, choppy conditions and real feel ready for the big event in September...which we were told today may have to be swam at night!!! Thanks to all of you for sponsoring us...
