Wood Green Animal Shelters has been rescuing and rehoming animals since 1924. The Charity takes in over 6,000 animals a year and has set national standards in animal care. It takes in unwanted and lost animals, providing shelter and care, finding secure loving homes and offering advice, support and guidance for owners.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Call it a mid life crisis if you want but my best mate of 30 years and I, have decided that it is time we stopped investing heavily in the brewing industry and do something worthwhile.  Our trek to the top of Kilimanjaro (5895m) is entirely self funded so the maximum amount will go to Wood Green, a charity very close to my heart. 

My dog 'Beemer' had been abandoned as a puppy when she came from the USPCA over 14 years ago!  She is a fantastic pet and enjoys her life to the full.  I really want to help give the same chances to all those lost, injured and unwanted fidos, fangs and trixie bells out there.
