Heartfelt thanks to you all for sponsoring us on our 26-mile walk across Wiltshire. It was a heck of a long slog, so we're thrilled to have conquered it. Our blisters and ludicrous hobbles are worth the more than £600 we raised for Kidney Research UK – and the medals, too.

The Sarsen Trail is a 26 mile walk from Avebury stone circle to Stonehenge, across some of Wiltshire's most beautiful and lumpy landscapes. The route takes us across the M.O.D.'s danger zone, but they have promised not to shoot at us (as long as we're off their land by 6pm!). We have already started training with walks at lunchtime, in the evening after work and longer 'Yomps' at the weekend. We have a tough training schedule to meet, but it's going to be a fun challenge.
We chose to support Kidney Research UK because it's a cause that's close to both of our hearts (and therefore other internal organs).
