SAILING ROUND THE WORLD IN.....11,665 pints!

Truly the challenge of a lifetime, I'm going to learn how to sail by circumnavigating the globe in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race 07/08. I'm giving up my career, life savings and life on dry land to take on what I am expecting to be the toughest challenge of my life. In order to match the 35,000 mile race through some of the world's most ferocious seas, I'm hoping to change the lives of children across the world by raising £35,000 -the equivalent of 11,665 pints (+half a shandy!)

Please, think about how much money you spend enjoying yourself on a night out. This charity helps children who will never have the opportunities available to you - please consider sacrificing the equivalent of a night out to make a real difference to individual lives. It's an enormous target that is as daunting to me as the sailing but if we all pull together, each donation will be a crucial step towards achieving a huge goal.
