The Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS) is committed to the conservation and welfare of critically endangered Sumatran orangutans and their rainforest habitat. There are now less than 7,300 Sumatran orangutans remaining in the wild. Unless urgent action is taken, they may be extinct within ten years.

The Sumatran Orangutan is now critically endangered...its population is declining by as much as 1000 per year due to logging, both legal and illegal, tropical forest clearing for agriculture, hunting and poaching.

We're doing a tandem hang-glide in Rio de Janeiro this month.....please please please sponsor us to raise some money for The Sumatran Orangutan Society, its estimated that Sumatran Orangutans could be extinct in less than 10 years!! Your sponsorhip doesnt cover the cost of the hang-glide.....100% goes to the society.
